Report Criticizes Immigration Enforcement Policies

A report by the American Immigration Lawyers Association calls into question the Department of Homeland Security’s “targeted enforcement agenda.”  DHS claims it allocates scarce resources by only pursuing aliens who truly threaten our safety, rather than harmless individuals who are a low-priority or who might even be legally entitled to stay in the U.S.

The report details multiple cases from across the country of individuals, who present no criminal justice concern and no risk to public safety, nevertheless being funneled into the “removal” process.
